My Wal-Mart Shopping Trip 6-21-11

After my daughter's nap this morning, I headed out to Wal-mart to do my shopping there. Again, this is a "normal" shopping trip. I bought things that we needed, and I used several coupons that were about to expire on things I use that very rarely go on sale. Here's what I bought:

1 24-pk Great Value brand bottled water ($2.97)

1 can Black Flag insect killer ($2.92)

1 pack Great Value brand paper plates ($1.82)

2 boxes Hawaiian Punch drink mix - the kind you add to bottled water ($1.00 each)

3 boxes Great Value brand drink mixes ($1.76 each)

5 boxes NexCare bandages ($1.00 each)

1 can Gerber Puffs ($1.98)

3 cans Gerber Little Veggies ($1.98 each)

9 jars Gerber baby food ($0.61 each)

4 jars Beech-Nut baby food ($0.65 each)

1 jar Beech-Nut baby food ($0.63)

3 boxes Slim Fast Snack multi-packs ($3.25 each)

4 packs Mentos UP2U gum ($1.28 each)

2 travel size Degree Mens deodorant ($0.97 each)

2 travel size Pert Plus shampoo ($0.97 each)

1 jug Great Value brand bleach ($1.47)

1 bag Iams dog food ($6.32)

2 boxes Snuggle fabric softener sheets ($1.87 each)

6 travel size packs Wet Ones ($0.97 each)

1 Wilkinson Sword disposable razors ($0.97)

1 pack Poise panty liners ($2.72)

1 travel size Playtex feminine cleansing cloths ($1.50)

I used the following coupons:

(2) $1.00 off two Gerber Graduates for crawlers snacks

(1) $0.75 off six jars Gerber baby food

(1) $0.75 off Slim Fast Snacks multi-pack

(4) $1.00 off UP2U gum

(2) $1.00 off any Degree Mens deodorant

(2) $1.00 off any Pert Plus product

(1) $5.00 off any Iams dog food

(2) $1.00 off any Snuggle fabric softener

(3) $1.00 off two Wet Ones products

(1) $1.00 any Wilkinson Sword disposable razors

(1) $2.00 off any Poise product

(1) $1.00 off any Playtex feminine cleansing cloths

My total after before coupons was $77.92 + tax. After coupons and sales tax, I spent $55.27. While typing this up and doing the math, I realized one of my $1.00 off coupons didn't scan! Since I have no way of knowing which one, I guess I am out that money, but I will be sure to be more careful next time! I still got some pretty good deals, and I was able to stock up on some things my family uses and get some items for donation as well!
