There were lots of coupons for free products to be had this week, especially on Facebook. If you were lucky enough, you scored a coupon for a free Herbal Essences product, a free Aussie product and a free Pantene product.
In a few weeks, when our mailboxes are flooded with these "free" coupons, most people will immediately go and buy the product. Okay, maybe not immediately, but on their next shopping trip. However, that may not be the best strategy!
Hold onto that "free" coupon - they don't expire for a while! Keep an eye out to see if that product goes on sale for B1G1 free before it expires - if so, you can pair that sale with your "free" coupon and get two products for free!! Double score!
If the item doesn't go on sale before it expires, no harm, no foul. Just use it the week before it expires and get your free product.
Be sure to check your store's coupon policy to be sure they allow this - but I've never had a problem doing this!
