After I left Rite Aid this afternoon, I headed to CVS. Again, shopping along is a rare treat for me! I was in and out in no time! I started with $8.00 in ECB's from last week. I did three transactions today. Here's the breakdown of what I bought:
Transaction #1
1 Hershey's Bliss chocolates (reg. price $5.99 - buy 1, get $5.99 ECB's)
Total - $5.99
Here are the coupons I used:
(1) $1.00 off Hershey's Bliss chocolates (Smart Source insert, 5/1)
$5.00 ECB's from last week (reduced to $4.99)
Total after sales and coupons - $0.00 + tax
I earned $5.99 ECB's for this transaction.
Transaction #2
2 Colgate Total toothpastes (reg. price $3.49 each, on sale for $2.79 each - buy 1, get $2.00 ECB's)

Total before sale prices applied - $9.85

Here are the coupons I used:
(2) $1.00 off Colgate Total toothpaste (I don't remember where I got these)
$5.99 ECB's from my first transaction

I earned $6.49 ECB's for this transaction.

Here are the coupons I used:

(1) $2.00 off any Pampers box diapers (P&G coupon book on specific products)
(1) Free Vitamins up to $9.99 (printed at the Coupon Center today - score! Took $5.99 off)
$9.49 ECB's from my second transaction and last week
Total after sales and coupons - $15.55 + tax
I earned $10.00 ECB's from this transaction. NOTE: I made a mistake on the Colgate 360 TB. I thought the $2.00 ECB would print, but it didn't. I forgot that there was a limit of 2 on that deal, and I used both of mine for the toothpaste in transaction #2. I thought about returning it, but I don't think I will. I get such great deals at CVS, so it doesn't bother me that bad. It's one of those live and learn things, and I'll be sure to pay better attention next time.
Total retail value of all items - $64.09
Total OOP (out of pocket) price - $15.63 + tax
Plus, I have $10.00 ECB's towards my purchase next week!
